— New to Reformer Pilates?

What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a full-body workout performed on a specially designed machine called a reformer. Using springs, straps and a moving carriage, you'll perform controlled movements that improve strength, posture, balance, flexibility and core stability.

Unlike traditional gym workouts, Reformer Pilates focuses on quality of movement rather than speed or heavy lifting.

Every exercise can be adjusted to suit your ability, making it suitable for complete beginners through to experienced exercisers.

Here's exactly what to expect.

From booking to leaving — here's exactly what to expect so there are no surprises.

01

Arrive a little early

Plan to arrive 5–10 minutes before your first class. This gives us time to welcome you, show you around, and get you set up comfortably on your reformer.

02

Meet your instructor

Your instructor will introduce themselves, ask if you have any injuries or areas to be mindful of, and walk you through how the reformer works. You won't be left guessing.

03

During class

Small class. Clear instruction. You'll be guided through every movement — when to go heavier, when to modify, what to focus on. You'll never feel lost or like you're falling behind.

04

After class

Whether it's your first class or your hundredth, you'll feel it — the warmth, the encouragement, the sense that everyone here is genuinely rooting for you.

— Common questions

Quick answers
before you book.

These are the questions we hear most from new clients. If yours isn't here, just drop us a message.

  • Our Essentials classes are primarily for beginners, although some members return to them to continue building confidence or refining their technique. Everyone works at their own level, and your instructor will guide you throughout the class.

  • Many people join us to build strength and move with greater confidence. If you have an injury, please let your instructor know before class. If you're unsure whether Reformer Pilates is suitable for you, we recommend speaking with your GP or healthcare professional first and only attending once you've been medically cleared. Get in touch with us if you have any specific questions!

  • Yes! Many of our members first walked through the door on their own. Our instructors and friendly community will make you feel welcome from your very first class.

  • Yes. We have ample free on-site parking directly outside the studio in Ladytown Business Park, just a short drive from both Naas and Newbridge, making getting to class simple and stress-free.

  • If you're just starting out, one to two classes per week is a great place to begin. As your confidence and strength grow, many members choose to attend more regularly.
