Terms & Conditions

By booking or attending a class or purchasing a membership at Sculpt Pilates, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. General Terms

Class Bookings & Attendance

  • All classes must be booked in advance via our LegitFit booking system. This applies to both members and non-members.

  • Classes must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid losing a class credit.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of that class credit.

  • No-shows may also result in an additional no-show fee.

  • Repeated late cancellations or continued no-shows may result in temporary suspension or refusal of future bookings.

  • Late arrival may result in refusal of entry where it is unsafe or disruptive to join the class after it has begun. This is to protect the safety and flow of the class for all clients.

Guest & Third-Party Bookings

  • Bookings and memberships are personal and non-transferable except where a guest booking is made in accordance with these Terms.

  • Where a client books a class on behalf of another person, the booking client is responsible for ensuring that the guest has read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and has disclosed any relevant health information prior to attending.

  • By making a booking for another person, you confirm that you have their consent to accept these Terms on their behalf.

  • All guests must comply with studio policies, complete any required health screening or PAR-Q, and follow instructor guidance while attending.

  • Sculpt Pilates reserves the right to refuse entry where required information has not been provided or where it is not safe for the guest to participate.

Physical Fitness, Health & Personal Responsibility

  • By booking a class, you confirm that you are physically fit and able to participate in exercise.

  • Where appropriate, clients should seek medical advice from a GP or physiotherapist before attending classes.

  • Clients must inform the instructor before class begins of any injuries, medical conditions, or changes to their health.

  • Clients are responsible for working within their own limits and stopping any exercise that causes pain, discomfort, dizziness, or concern.

  • Sculpt Pilates does not provide medical advice and is not responsible for determining whether a client is fit to participate.

  • Participation in classes involves inherent physical risks. While Sculpt Pilates takes reasonable care to provide a safe environment, clients participate at their own risk.

Class Suitability & Levels

  • Our classes are designed for general fitness and wellbeing.

  • Clients are responsible for booking classes that match their level of experience and ability.

  • If you are new to Reformer Pilates, returning after injury, pregnant/postnatal, or have any injury, medical condition, or special consideration, please email us at hello@sculptpilates.ie in advance so we can guide you to the most suitable class.

  • In some cases, a private 1:1 session may be recommended before joining group classes to ensure safety and confidence using the equipment.

  • Instructors may advise that a different class type, level, or private session is more suitable at any time to ensure the safety of both the client and the group.

Communication & Safety in Class

  • Group Reformer classes require clients to be able to follow instructor guidance and move safely and independently on and off equipment.

  • Where additional support, supervision, or time is required, a private session may be recommended to ensure safety for both the individual and the group.

Health Disclosure & Screening

  • Clients must inform instructors of any injuries, medical conditions, special considerations or changes to their health before participating in class.

  • Completion of the PAR-Q / Injuries & Special Considerations form via LegitFit (if applicable) is required prior to attending classes and must be kept up to date.

  • Failure to disclose relevant information may affect our ability to provide a safe experience.

Jewellery, Clothing & Safety

  • For safety reasons, all jewellery must be removed before class.

  • Clothing with zips should not be worn, as it may damage reformer equipment.

  • Socks must be worn at all times; grip socks are strongly recommended.

  • Hair must be tied back to prevent it from becoming caught in springs or moving parts.

Instructor Guidance, Adjustments & Equipment Use

  • Clients must follow the instructor’s guidance at all times when using equipment.

  • Clients are responsible for following instructor guidance, asking questions if unsure, and using equipment safely and as intended.

  • Instructors may modify, adjust, or stop any exercise where they believe it is unsafe or unsuitable.

  • Our instructors may offer hands-on adjustments or light tactile cues during class to support alignment, safety, and technique. If you prefer not to receive hands-on guidance at any time, please inform your instructor before class begins and your preference will be respected.

  • Incorrect or unsafe use of equipment may result in injury. By booking a class, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

Studio Etiquette & Conduct

  • Respectful behaviour towards instructors and fellow clients is expected at all times.

  • Aggressive behaviour, unsafe conduct, misuse of equipment, or disruption to others may result in removal from the class or studio.

  • Clients may be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of equipment damaged through misuse or failure to follow instructor guidance.

  • Personal recording or filming during class is not permitted.

  • From time to time, Sculpt Pilates may run designated content or marketing classes where photography or video recording may take place for promotional purposes. These sessions will always be clearly communicated in advance via the class description or booking information. By booking into these classes, you acknowledge that filming may occur. Clients who prefer not to be recorded should choose an alternative session.

Drugs & Alcohol Policy

  • For the safety of all clients and instructors, participation in classes while under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited.

  • Sculpt Pilates reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from a class, any individual suspected of being under the influence.

  • No refunds or class credits will be issued in such circumstances.

Children in the Studio

  • For safety reasons, children are not permitted in the studio during classes unless attending a designated parent/child or specialised session.

Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

  • Sculpt Pilates reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service or access to classes where necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing, or experience of our clients, instructors, or staff, or where these Terms and studio policies are not adhered to.

    • Introductory offer: expires within 30 days

  • Unused or expired classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Extensions to class pack expiry dates are not guaranteed and may be considered only in exceptional circumstances, at the sole discretion of Sculpt Pilates.

Payments, Credits & Refunds

  • Payments for classes, packs and memberships are non-refundable.

  • If you are unable to attend due to illness, injury or exceptional circumstances, we may, at our discretion, offer a credit to your account for future use instead of a monetary refund.

  • Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.

  • Refunds will only be issued where Sculpt Pilates is unable to provide the service purchased or where required by consumer law.

  • By purchasing classes or memberships, you agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for valid transactions made in accordance with these Terms. Any outstanding or reversed payments may result in suspension of bookings or membership access. Sculpt Pilates reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at its discretion in accordance with these Terms.

  • Memberships operate on a rolling monthly basis and will auto-renew unless cancelled with the required notice.

  • Membership fees are charged monthly from the original sign-up date.

Freezing Memberships

  • Memberships may be frozen for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months in any rolling 12-month period.

  • Freeze requests must be made in writing at least 7 days before the next billing date.

  • Freezes extend the membership term but do not override minimum commitment periods.

  • Membership class credits must be used within the billing period in which they are issued.

  • Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period.

  • Members receive priority booking, with the booking window opening 1 day earlier than for non-members.

Failed Payments

  • If a membership payment fails, outstanding balances must be cleared before further bookings can be made or a membership can be cancelled.

  • Sculpt Pilates reserves the right to attempt payment on an alternative card saved on the client’s account.

  • Access to classes may be suspended until payment issues are resolved.

4. Age Policy

  • Group classes are open to clients aged 18 and over.
